Geraldine E. "Bootsie" Wells, 78, of Derry, NH, died Saturday November 26, 2016 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Lawrence, MA on October 21, 1938, a daughter of James and Geraldine (Steele) McMahon. Bootsie, as she was known had been a resident of Derry for the past year, formerly living in Londonderry, NH and Wells, ME. She had been employed as a realtor for many years, most recently at Littlefield Realty in Ogunquit, ME. Bootsie loved life and enjoyed the theater and the arts.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Wells and his wife Leora of Derry, and Michael Wells of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, David Norris, Timothy Norris, Katie Wells, Brandon Wells, and Mikayla Wells; two great grandchildren, Paige Norris and Hadley Wells; she was predeceased by her daughter, Debora Wells, and her sister, Joan. She was predeceased by her grandson, Kyle Wells in 1997.
Following cremation, she will buried in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, MA. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
