Tracy Robert Riff, 76, of Berlin passed away peacefully on Thursday November 24, 2016, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon surrounded by his family. He was born on March 19, 1940 in Berlin the son of the late Lawrence T. “Manny” Riff and D. Grace (Whitcher) Riff. He was a graduate of Berlin High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. Tracy worked as a custodian for the Berlin Public School System for many years.
Family includes his wife of 52 years Barbara Riff of Berlin; children Heather Green and husband John of Berlin, VT and Walter Riff and partner Summer Smith of Manchester, NH; three granddaughters Miranda and Samantha Green and Amelia Riff; sisters Marion Letarte of Jefferson, NH and Kristine Skilling of Gray, ME; 3 brothers, William Riff of Berlin, Donald Riff of Berlin and Gary Riff of Gorham; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday December 2 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services and interment will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen in the spring. Donations may be made in his memory to the Oncology Dept. at Dartmouth Hitchcock or to Weeks Oncology in Lancaster.
