Virginia Louise (Stottlemyer) Seippel, 89, of Anderson died November 22, 2016 at Primrose Retirement Center in Anderson after an extended illness.
Louise was born January 8, 1927, to Ira and Maggie (Harless) Stottlemyer, in Anderson, where she was a life long resident.
She worked housekeeping in hospitals and was employed by Warner Press.
She loved her dogs, enjoyed hunting and reading, especially westerns.
Survivors include her two children, David Garrettson, Danny Garrettson; sisters, Ethel Valena Cunningham and Lois Maxine Lewis and several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Penny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Bob Garrettson and second husband Richard Seippel; two brothers, Floyd and Roscoe Stottlemyer and two sisters, Reba Stottlemyer and Margaret Ebert.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. William Thompson of Lone Oak Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society or Animal Protection League.
