Keeman, Alice K. of Buzzards Bay formerly of Wellesley, November 20, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late William W. and Martha J. (Leary) Keeman. Sister of the late Doris M. Stevens and the late William Keeman. Aunt of Wendy Keeman of Wellesley, John Stevens of Winston-Salem, NC, William Stevens of Ventura, CA, and Martha Stevens of Titusville, PA. Great-aunt to Ashley Belford, Sean Stevens, Melissa Swanson, Rebecca Stevens and Christopher Stevens.
Alice was a very friendly and outgoing person. At her jobs as a switchboard operator she knew everyone. She loved to greet and meet with her fellow residents at Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center, at one time holding the honorary title of “Mayor of Mary Ann Morse”. Alice also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her collies, boxers, shelties and her Maine Coon cats.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. Wellesley, Monday Nov. 28, at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, 502 Washington St. Wellesley at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to the Mass in the funeral home from 9:30am-10:30am. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
