Worcester – Rey M. Oliveras, 47, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 19th.
Rey is survived by 6 brothers, Angel and Heraclio of New York, Jose and Carlos of Worcester and Ruben and Luis of Puerto Rico; 8 sisters, Reina Oliveras, Aida Oliveras, Lourdes Oliveras and Janet Batista all of Worcester, Maria Gonzalez of Tampa, FL, Isabel Davila of Virginia, Tereza Oliveras of New York and Luz Olivera of Webster.
Mr. Oliveras is also survived by many nephews and nieces. Rey was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, son of Amalio Oliveras and Gloria M. Ramos. He is also predeceased by a sister Nereida Oliveras.
The funeral will be held on Monday, November 28 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 AM in the Cathedral of Saint Paul 15 Chatham Street. Burial will follow in St. john’s Cemetery. Calling hours are on Sunday, November 27 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
