Philip C. Therrien
Manchester– Philip C. Therrien, 67, passed away November 21, 2016 after a long hard illness.
He was born in Manchester on September 14, 1949 to the late Maurice A. Therrien and his mother Jacqueline (Garceau) Therrien.
Phil was a proud member of the Auxiliary State Police Troop B for 30 years and then became a Deputy Sheriff of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department for 27 years.
Phil was a graduate of Babson College with a degree in Business.
Phil loved to fish and work in the woods in his younger years. He was very knowledgeable of Manchester and the State of NH. He loved New England and his family. He loved his nieces and nephews very much and loved to teach them things about life about being good respectful people.
He is survived by his mother Jacqueline Therrien and his brothers and sister; Maurice Therrien and nieces, Monique, Joleen, Joann, and nephew, Maurice Therrien Jr., brother, Charles and his wife, Sue, sister, Jacqueline Kenney and husband Jim and nephews James Kenney Jr., and Phillip C. Kenney, and step niece, April Kenney.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Hedwig Church.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
