Kenneth Roger Simpson, 64, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, November 21, 2016, at Landmark Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 5 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Simpson was born September 13, 1952, in Cochran, Georgia to the late James David & Lorene Harp Simpson. He lived in the community most of his life and was a former truck driver. Mr. Simpson loved sports, the news, go-carts and fishing. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children: Bunny Hutchinson & Chris of Fitzgerald and Rodney Hulett of Helena; five grandchildren; three brothers: Henry Simpson of Irwinville, Bobby Simpson of Fitzgerald and Herman & Lisa Simpson of Fitzgerald and a sister: Anna Laura H. Market & Charles of Gaskins, Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Moss Simpson and a brother, James F. Simpson.
