Patricia Loretta Wazan , also known as Patty to her friends and Snug , a name that was given to her by her late father when she was a little girl. The Snuggery was the name of her home on Nantucket. Patty passed away on Saturday , November 19, 2016 at the age of 80. She was born in New York City on May 9th, 1936. Patty was living in Wellesley, MA at the time of her death.
There will be a mass given in her memory at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 86 Main Street,Norfolk, MA on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:30AM. A celebration of her life will be on Nantucket in May 2017.
She is survived by her children, Kristina Molinari, Jeanne Caspe, Paige Fabrizio and Derek Wazan. Her grandchildren, Troy, Nicholas, Jeremy, Marina, Gino and Kylee. Her sons-in-law, Andrew Caspe and Mark Fabrizio, her niece, Hilary Bayer, her nephew, Brad Bayer and her sister, Janice Bayer. Patty loved life, people and had a passion for traveling. Everywhere she visited she returned home with stories of her adventures as well as new friends. She never forgot your birthday and always sent either a card or a present and many times both. Patty’s warmhearted nature will be greatly missed by those that she leaves behind.
