Dorothy Vojack passed away peacefully on Nov. 19 at her home in Olyphant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward (Doc) Vojack, in 1997.
Born to the late George and Irene Olsavsky, she graduated in 1949 from Olyphant High School. Before retiring, she worked at Baumel's and Pawnee Pants in Olyphant.
She had a passion for reading, eating junk food and talking on the phone for hours with her friends (you know who you are).
Dorothy was strong-willed. She respected and thought highly of her family and friends. She took care of her sister and best friend, Mary Olsavsky for many years. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her, especially by her nieces/caregivers, Linda Bernacki and Anita Koval.
Surviving are sisters, Mary Olsavsky; and Ann Repecki and husband, Tom; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sheth and Dr. Pancholy and all the staff at the Jermyn Wright Center for always being there for us.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in St. Patrick's Church at Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Jessup.
Friends may call Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m.
