Virginia M. (Murphy) Kincaid, a Wilmington resident for over fifty years formerly of Melrose, passed away peacefully, November 19, 2016, at the New England Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn, following a lengthy period of declining health. She was 85 years of age. Born in North Reading she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Josephine E. (Coupal) Murphy.
Virginia worked for many years as a quality control supervisor for Compugraphics/AGFA in Wilmington prior to her retirement. She was very talented with arts and crafts and enjoyed knitting and crochet work. She also enjoyed cooking, shopping and laughing with friends and family. Her greatest joy was her family who she was totally devoted to and she cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she was so proud of.
Virginia was the devoted and beloved mother of Carol A. Beauchamp of Billerica, William D. Kincaid, Jr., of Wilmington, Jodi Boeske and her husband Steven of Chester, NH, and the late Joel Kincaid. She is also survived by eleven loving grandchildren and four loving great grandchildren. Sister of the late Edward, James, and Leo Murphy. Further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, Wednesday, November 23rd, at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home will be held on Tuesday, from 4 through 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
