Constance C. Johnson, 56, of Londonderry, NH died Saturday, August 13,2005 in her residence. She was born on June 11, 1949 in Lewiston, ME, the adopted daughter of Gerald Acherson and the late Sylvia Acherson. She was raised in Wales, ME and was a 1967 graduate of Monmouth Academy S he had resided in Londonderry since 1974. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she had been employed by the former AT&T Company as an accounting clerk in the Lewiston, ME, Manchester, NH and Bedford, NH offices. Mrs. Johnson was a communicant of St. Marks Church in Londonderry. She was an avid Bingo player and cherished her three dogs.
Family members include her husband of 32 years, Danny H. Johnson of Londonderry, a daughter, Heidi M. Johnson of Londonderry, her father and step-mother, Gerald and Joyce Acherson of Maine, a sister Georgette Buckingham, four brothers, Raymond Blier, Paul Acherson, Bert Blier and Paul Buckingham.
Calling hours were held Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd.., Londonderry. A prayer service was held at 7 PM, during the calling hours. Cremation followed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Child & Family Services, 99 Hanover St., Manchester, NH 03101.
