Obituary

SALEM - Ronald L. Dionne, 83, husband of Lorraine (Turcotte) Dionne, of Delphi, Indiana, formerly of Salem, MA died in Delphi on November 5, 2016 with family at his side.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Leonadis and Lauretta (Harrison) Dionne. He was a lifelong resident of Salem until moving to Delphi in 2011.

Ronald was a Korean Conflict era Navy veteran and served on the aircraft carrier, USS Lake Champlain.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 36 years at the Diamond Crystal Salt Company in Wilmington where he was a production supervisor.

Besides his wife, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage, he is survived by three daughters, Deborah Dionne-Zook and husband Matthew of Delphi, IN, Donna Ross of Salem, Diane and husband Dik Dagavarian of Bow, NH, five grandchildren, Nicole Ross, Michelle and husband Matthew Johnson, Jennifer Ross, Franklin Fillmore, Heather Fillmore, great grandchildren, Anna Fillmore and Sidney Johnson, a brother, Roger Dionne of Klamath Falls, Oregon and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine McKinney.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem with family receiving friends and relatives at the church prior to the Mass from 9:45 to 10:55 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements are by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
