ROBERT OWEN “BOB” McCOY, 82, passed away on November 18, 2016.
He was a retired supervisor of transportation for LG& E, a member of the St. Matthews Masonic Lodge #906, an Army veteran and exceptional auto mechanic. Bob was an avid NASCAR fan, owner and operator of McCoy Racing Team #44 and loved his Cardinals and Cats. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, but most of all, being with his Betty Jo.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Betty (Goodman) Duvall McCoy; his children, Eddie Duvall (Dolly), Pamela Curl (Rodney), Diane Duvall (Mike), Karen McIntosh (Ervin), Robby McCoy (Susan) and Sharon Mulloy (John); 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Memorial visitation will be from 1- 7 p.m. Wednesday.
