Patricia (Duffy) Johns-Kilsby, age 70, of Brockton, died peacefully, November 17, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Boston, and raised in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Verna (Emmell) Duffy. Pat had been a resident of Brockton for over 40 years and had been employed for many years at the Brockton Enterprise. She was an avid Patriots fan and also enjoyed gardening, yard work and “fixer upper” projects. She was family oriented and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Pat was the mother of Christopher “Scott” Kilsby and his wife Bridgette, Peter and his wife Laurie all of Brockton and Deborah Kilsby of Maine; grandmother of Adam, Sarah, Christina, and Christopher Kilsby and Brianna Surette; great grandmother of five; sister of Kim Grace and her husband Kevin and Tracey Franks all of Weymouth, Arthur Franks of Wareham and Roger Franks of Florida; aunt of Rachel and Stephanie Grace and great aunt of Sophia Umbro.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday 4-7pm, followed by a funeral service at 7pm. As an avid Patriots fan, it was Pat’s wish that everyone attending her wake wear an item representing the Patriots.
