Joyce B. Bessette, 65, of Pine Hill Avenue, Johnston, died Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Fatima Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of John A. Bessette.
Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Russell E. and Blanche E. (Morrocco) Knott. She had lived in Johnston for the past 61 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Monique DiTusa of Aviano, Italy and Christopher Bessette of Johnston, her siblings: Russell Knott, Jr. of Johnston, Judy Saccoccio of Johnston and Karen Enright of Cranston.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Monday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
