Richard T. Sylvester, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Lowell. He was born in Waltham, the son of the late Veronica J. (Lingley) Sylvester and had lived most of his life in Hudson.
He leaves his father, Thomas W. Sylvester of Marlborough; his sister, Victoria L. Sylvester of Marlborough; two brothers, Anthony R. Sylvester of Lowell and Mackenzie T. Sylvester of Marlborough; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Richard attended St. Michael’s Church in Lowell and was active in sports playing basketball, deck hockey and Pop Warner football. During his years at Hudson High School, he was voted captain of the football team his sophomore and junior years. Richard lived his brief life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
Calling hours for Richard will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 21, from the funeral home with a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough.
