Lorraine (Vertefeuille) Laflamme, 85, of Johnston passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016, surrounded by her loving children at home. Beloved wife of the late Albert Laflamme.
Born in Mansfield, MA, daughter of the late Louis O. Vertefeuille and Blance (Frappier) Vertefeuille. Resident of Johnston for 52 years, she is survived by her loving children Cheryl McConnon and her husband, Robert of Warwick, Edward Laflamme and his wife, Ellen of Warwick, Susan Newman and her husband, Jeffrey of Johnston, Charles Laflamme and his partner, Michael Racano of Palm Coast, Florida, Elizabeth Bondarek and her fiance Jerry Taylor of Coventry, Amy Nobrega and her husband David of Somerset, Massachusetts, her four grandchildren and three great granchildren. Devoted sister of Louis Vertefeuille Jr of Pawtucket and the late Doris Besson.
She was a dedicated volunteer at RI Superior Court, McCauley House, St. Robert's Food Pantry, Johnston Senior Center and Eucharistic minister. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at Saint Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI.
