Owens, Agnes (White), 77, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in Louisville.
She was born to William and Bessie White (Johnson) on July 1, 1939.
Agnes was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Baptist by faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Lee Owens Sr.; a daughter, Cynthia Lee Carnes; a grandson, Charlie; and two sisters, Margaret and Pearl.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia L. Patterson (James), Kevin “Rocky” Owens, Douglas “Boogie” Owens (Ramona), Edward “Tommy” Owens, Sandy D. Thompson (Danny), and Herbert “Slugger” Owens Jr. (Jennifer); 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Buddy (Linda), Charlie (Judy), Ansel, and Doug White; and four sisters, Mildred, Kate, Sylvia, and Genny.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00AM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday 11:00-8:00PM, and also Saturday 9:00-11:00AM.
