Dale F. Carter
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, November 12, 2016, Mr. Dale Francis Carter, 57, loving husband to Barbara Blackstone Lariscy.
Mr. Carter was a lifelong resident of Augusta and a graduate of Westside High School. He was a technician with EZ-GO Textron for 37 years. He was an avid concert fan.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his stepson: Christopher Lariscy (Emily); mother: Betty Carter Tant; sisters: Patricia Martin (Clarence) of Beech Island, SC and Sandy Markesich of Augusta, GA; brothers: Andy Carter (Minda) of Monrovia Liberia, Africa, Bill Carter (Margaret) of Spokane, WA; nieces: Tammy Smith of Augusta, GA, Dana Mitchell of Augusta, GA, Erin Kendrick (Jason) of Thomson, GA. and Andrea Carter (Ty Woodruff) of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews and many many friends. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Wyman Tant, and sister, Jerri Carter Black.
A memorial service will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Wes Lawson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vision Fund at Rosemont Baptist Church, 522 Highway 25, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
