Hayes, Mildred Jane , 90, passed away November 13, 2016 in Louisville.
She was born in Louisville on July 4, 1926, and was a Firecracker. She retired after working many years at different Tobacco Plants in Louisville. She enjoyed life and loved her large family. She was a member of (St. Clements) - St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, belonged to the Friendship Club, and other activities included playing cards. In her youth, she enjoyed Smooth Dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloysious Hayes; a daughter, Sharon Taylor, a son, Kevin Hayes, a grandson, Justin Clark; and precious others.
Survivors include her brothers, Mickey and David Hennessey; daughters, Karla Clark, and Patricia Duke (Terry); a son, Dan Hayes (Shelba); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 9:00AM -1:00PM.
