Maria M. Valdez (44) of Brockton died November 13th in the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Brighton. She was the loving wife of Jose L. Rivera.
She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico daughter of Rafael Lugo of Boston and Carmen (Sanchez) Lugo of Brockton. Maria was a legal secretary in the Boston area. She was also a member of Arca de Refugio church in Boston. Maria was devoted to her church, family and known for her giving ways.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by a daughter Kayla Valdez of Brockton and 3 brothers, Rafael, Juan and Efrain Lugo all of Boston.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton November 19th at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday November 18th from 4-9 pm.
