PORTLAND- Raymond E. Caron, 60, of Portland, passed away on Monday Nov. 14, 2016 from a long illness at Mercy Hospital.
He was born in Portland, on Dec. 24, 1955, the son of the late Everett and Vaughndella (Small) Caron.
He was a lifelong resident of Portland and worked at all the shoe shops in Portland and retired from Bercons.
He enjoyed the company of his loving family.
He is survived by his four kids- Raymond “Dewey” and Everett Sprague, and Samantha and Randy Caron; four grandchildren; eight sisters- Deanna Foster, Jeannette Quatrano, Theresa Caron, Karen Stover, Brenda Southwick and her husband William, Vaughndella Higgins and her husband Thomas, Constance Palmer and her husband Nelson, and Sharon Bragg and her husband Ray.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1 PM at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland.
