Mary J. Alarie 71, formerly of Burnside Ave. died November 12, 2016. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Garakop) Alarie. Mary worked for the State of RI in the Elderly Affairs Department for thirty five years.
She is survived by her siblings, Bruce, Henry, Leo and John Alarie, Barbara Lacroix, Carol Maines, Sandra Rattie, Denise Parker, and Marlene Giguere, a godchild Haley Mandeville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Thomas, Robert and Eugene Alarie and a sister Eileen Forget.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM
