Obituary

Terence F. Carroll, 69, of Worcester, died peacefully on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2016 with his wife by his side.

He leaves his wife of 47 years, Linda D. (Janulewicz) Carroll, two sons, Luke M. Carroll of St. Petersburg, Fl., and Brian F. Carroll and his wife Lori of Worcester; two grandchildren, Brian and Emma, a sister, Maryann Anusavice and her husband Bernie of Grafton; two brothers, John Carroll and his wife Maureen of Auburn and Mark Carroll and his wife Ann of Charlton. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Buddy. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Carroll and a sister, Noreen Duffy. Terence was born in Holden, a son of Matthew and Mabel (Delaney) Carroll and has lived in Worcester for most of his life.

Mr. Carroll worked many years for the Worcester Housing Authority and was a Project Manager there before he retired. Terence was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War earning the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed playing golf.

The memorial funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday November 17, 2016 in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street. The calling hour will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM just before the service Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 315 Norwood Park South, 1st Floor, Norwood, Ma 02062.
