Manfredo C. Scaramuzzo, of Medford, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Winchester Hospital on November 11 at the age of 92. He was the son of the late Giovannina (DiGiovanni) Scaramuzzo and Pietro Scaramuzzo of Italy. Born in Castel del Giudice, Italy, he settled in Medford with his family in 1969 where he lived the rest of his life. He leaves behind his devoted wife Annina (Bonanotte) of 67 years and his children: Emma Coscia and her husband Alberto of Medford; Rita DiCarlo and her husband Philip of Danvers; Gino Scaramuzzo and his wife Adele of Wakefield; Phyllis DellaCroce and her husband Michael of Wakefield; and John Scaramuzzo and his wife Joanne of Dedham. He is also survived by his grandchildren: David Coscia, Michael Coscia, Paul DiCarlo, Brian Scaramuzzo, Danielle (Scaramuzzo) Petralia, Jessica Scaramuzzo, Janine DellaCroce, Christina DellaCroce, Jill Scaramuzzo, Johnny Scaramuzzo, and James Scaramuzzo. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Lexie Scaramuzzo and Jonah Coscia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his siblings Emma Perella, Nino Scaramuzzo, and Gino Scaramuzzo; his two infant sons Giampietro and Giampaolo; and his two grandsons Daniel DiCarlo and Mark DiCarlo. He had a very kind heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday November 15th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
