Catherine J. “Kay” Trunfio (Boyle) age 85 of Canton passed away November 11th at Wingate at Sharon after a period of failing health. Born in Everett, she attended Chevrus High School in Malden. She has lived in Canton since 1968 and was a member and CCD Teacher at St. Gerard Majella Church. She worked in the Kitchen at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton and previously worked as a cook for Blue Hills Regional School in Canton. Beloved wife of the late Edward E. Mother of Michael J. Trunfio of Canton, Edward E. Trunfio and his wife Kathy of Stoughton, and John P. Trunfio and his wife Terri of Brockton. Sister of Alice Cox of Walpole, Ann Pelrine of Reading, Mary Dahlquest of Reading, Jack Boyle of Everett, and the late Eileen Flagg, James Boyle and Richard Boyle. Grandmother of Kelly White of Canton, Nicholas Trunfio of Brockton and Timothy Trunfio of Stoughton. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm.
