Augusta, GA – Mr. Thomas “Tommy” J. Leonard, 66, entered into rest on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his residence.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday evening, November 17, 2016 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel.
Tommy was born in Augusta to the late Harry Bernard and June Allison Swedenburg Leonard. He was a car salesman with United Auto Sales in Augusta and also served in the Marine Reserves. Tommy will be remembered for his good nature, gentleness, and many great stories.
Tommy is survived by his brother, Michael B. Leonard; his sister, Virginia L. House; his nieces and nephews, Laura L. Hock, Neeley H. Dawson, Graham House, and Paul Sullivan; and by several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, Leo W. Leonard; his sister, Jane L. Sullivan; and by his nephew, Michael Casey Leonard.
