WESTBROOK- Stephen Laurel Goodine, age 61, of Saco St., passed away on Nov. 11, 2016 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
He was born in Plaster Rock, N.B. Canada on June 21, 1955, the son of Hubert and Joyce Goodine.
He graduated from Fort Fairfield High School in 1975.
He worked as a security guard and in construction.
He enjoyed muscle cars, going to car shows, flea markets, yard sales, sitting around an outside fire place and spending time with his wife and friends.
He also loved animals, especially dogs. He had two beagles – Snoopy and Henry.
He was married for 33 years to his loving wife Susanne.
He was predeceased by his parents and his infant brother Daniel.
He is survived by his wife- Susanne Goodine; father-in-law- Rodney Wallace; daughter and husband Jessica and John Thibodeau from Texas; granddaughter Randi and a grandson Joshua of Texas Also, very close friends who's like another daughter and brother to him- RaeLynn Hartford from GA, Bruce Haycock from Biddeford, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Stephen will be held on Sunday Nov. 20 from 1:30 – 4:30 at the Westbrook- Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St, Westbrook. Parking is available on Church St. If you are planning to attend, please bring a cat or dog toy or food to be donated to the Animal Refuge League. His wife will bring all items to them in Stephen's memory.
