Joseph “Richard” Clemons 69, passed away Wednesday at his home. Born in Grayson County, he was a retired forklift driver for Modern Concrete, delivered the Courier Journal 30 years and was Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rose (Repp); children, Christina Davis (Barry), Joseph Clemons; five grandchildren, Andy, Samantha, Ally, Damon and Caleb. Brothers Sammie Clemons, Paul Clemons (Donna); sisters, Rudell Higdon (Russell), Viena Greenwell, Angie Wright (George), Joanna Sutton (Jim), and Rosetta Powers.
His funeral will be 1pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 2 pm to 8 pm on Sunday.
