WAYLAND: Georgine Marie (Gill) Botticelli, 81, died peacefully and comfortably on Thursday, November 10, 2016 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Stamford, CT on February 3, 1935 the daughter of the late William R. Gill and Georgine (Kane) Gill.
She was the wife of the late Charles R. Botticelli who died on June 7, 2004.
Georgine is survived by her children Carolyn Botticelli-Wells of Los Angeles, CA; Maryann Botticelli of Billerica; Michael Botticelli of Wayland; William Botticelli of Natick; Sandra Pease of Natick and the late Andrea Botticelli who died in 1988. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Robert “Bob” Gill.
Georgine spent her formative years in Stamford, CT and resided with her husband in Weston for over 40 years where they raised their family. She had been a resident of Natick for several years and most recently lived in Wayland.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her family who were the center of her life. The most important aspect of her life was providing a wonderful home for her family and sharing many holiday traditions with them. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to sew clothes for her children and grandchildren and made many wardrobes for all of them. She had a beautiful singing voice and will be remembered as the “Best Mom in the World”.
Visitations will be held on Monday November 14, 2016 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte. 30), Wayland.
At the conclusion of visitations, a private family service and interment will be held.
