Augusta – Mr. Shafiq Ibrahim Abbas Fakhouri, age 79, beloved husband of Grace Zaour Fakhouri, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Rich Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Fakhouri was born in Jaffa, Israel and had a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
In addition to his wife, Grace, he is survived by his son, Mazen Fakhouri, his daughter, Luna Fakhouri Bower, her husband, Miquel, and their children, Amelia and Marcel, and his son, Nasheed Fakhouri, his wife, Cassidy Gorr Fakhouri, and their daughter, Ruby. He is also survived by his siblings, Tawfiq, Shabib, Mukhles and Haifa.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning, November 12, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
