Mildred L. Amero, age 72, died peacefully among family, on Friday May 24, 2002 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
She was born in Boston on November 04, 1929 to the late Daniel and Velma (Waring) McEleney. She was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School and a communicant of the Open Door Baptist Church of Belmont for the past 10 years. She was a homemaker. She was the loving wife of Willard F. Amero for 53 years.
Besides her beloved husband, she is the loving mother of Daniel J. Amero of Jupiter, Florida, Billy Amero of Flowery Branch, GA, Carol A. Ervin of Raleigh, NC, Diane M. Costa of Chelmsford and Linda L. Amero of Palm City, Florida. Sister of Daniel McEleney of Freedom, NH, Ida B. Drew of Rockland, MA and the late Velma Worrall. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory may be made to the Open Door Baptist Church, 300 Pleasant Street, Belmont, MA or to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 265, Burlington, MA 01803.
Her funeral service will be held in the Open Door Baptist Church, 300 Pleasant Street, Belmont, on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, on Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
