Claudette V. Cunningham, 77, of Rosewood Drive, Greenville, died Wednesday at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of John F. Cunningham, Sr. They had been married for 58 years.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Donat and Simonne (Tetreault) Bourget. She had lived in Smithfield since 1961 previously living in Johnston.
She was a Communicant of St. Philip Church, a member and Past President of the Smithfield Emblem Club, #434, Past President of St. Philip Woman’s Club, and Past President of the RI State Emblem Club. She was a former member of the Smithfield Elks Lodge #2359.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons: John F. Cunningham, Jr, Scott M. Cunningham and Steven J. Cunningham, her six grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Cassidy, Cody, Justin and Steven and four great grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, Chloe and Laurel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will held Monday at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Sunday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Woonsocket Emblem Club, P. O. Box 852, Woonsocket, RI 02895
