SPENCER; Anne Jammermann, 92, died Tuesday, November 8 after a long illness.
She leaves two nieces, Marion Mueller and her husband Christian of West Redding, CT., Ellinor Allen and her husband Kenneth of Spencer, and their respective families. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of Paul & Minna (Kreutz) Jammermann and came to the United States in 1954, she lived in New York City until 2002, and then moved to Spencer in 2002. Tante Ali, as she was known, was never a verbose woman. Her love of needlework was her outlet for expressing the love she had for her family, and what love she had! Every significant event was somehow memorialized in textile. She was the steady, stalwart aunt in any family crisis but she was also always up for adventures in shopping and sightseeing. Tante Ali will be greatly missed.
At Anne's request, no funeral services are planned. If you wish to remember Anne with a gift, donations may be made her name to the Talking Books Library, 3 Salem St., Worcester, MA 01608.
The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., is assisting the family with arrangements.
