Robert C. "Bob" Quinn, a 25 year resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home in Charlestown following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 67 years old.
Bob was born in Boston on September 8, 1949, a son of the late Francis Quinn and Margaret (Cicero) Quinn. He was educated in the Boston Public School system. Bob enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on June 30, 1969 and served his country faithfully and with courage during the Vietnam Conflict. He was honorably discharged on June 30, 1971 with the rank of Corporal. Bob worked for many years as an offset printer for several printing companies. He enjoyed playing darts and softball.
Bob is the beloved husband of 19 years to Maureen (Leahy) Quinn. He is the devoted father of Paul Hennessey and his wife Kathleen Lacey of Charlestown, Sandra Hennessey of Saugus and Tina Hennessey of Everett. His the brother of Frank Quinn, John Quinn, Michael Quinn, Mark Quinn and Lillian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bob's visiting hours on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 3 to 7 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
