Catherine (McArthur) Pappalardo of Medford died on Saturday, November 5, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Raised and educated in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (MacKinnon) McArthur. Catherine worked for many years in the Admissions Department of the Lahey Clinic Medical Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late William R. Pappalardo, and the devoted mother of William Pappalardo Jr. and his wife Denise of Matthews, NC, and David Pappalardo and his wife Julie of Hopkinton, MA. Catherine was the loving grandmother of Ava and Kayla Pappalardo, and sister of the late Theresa "Joan" McArthur, and the late John Douglas McArthur. She is survived by many loving brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, November 10 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours Wednesday, November 9, from 4 through 8PM.
