OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA - Reverend Lucien Lussier passed away at the Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Beloved son of the late Gaudiace and Mathilda (Labonte) Lussier. Dear brother of Andre Lussier. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Roland, Albert, Jospeph, Rene, Napoleon, Louis, Ludger, Jean, Laurent, Gertrude, Charles Lussier and Pauline Howland. Solemn Translation to Nativity Co-Cathedral, 220 Montreal Road, Cornwall for the Liturgy of the word was held Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell was celebrated in Nativity Co-Cathedral on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM. His Grace Archbishop Terrence Prendergast, Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese Alexandria-Cornwall presided. Thence to South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9th from 5-8 PM. His funeral will be held Thursday at 10 AM at the funeral home followed by the Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell in St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River, MA on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
