Marguerite I. Zucco passed away peacefully at the Glen Ridge Nursing Home of Medford. She was 91. A life-long Medford resident Margie was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Rene) Mirabello. She was a long-time traffic supervisor for the City of Medford and served until her retirement. She also worked as a polling place supervisor during elections for many years. Margie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed time with her family and many friends. She was honored by the Mayor of Medford on the occasion of her 80th birthday with the Key to the City for her outstanding contributions as a Medford citizen.
The beloved wife of the late Salvatore J. Zucco, Margie was a devoted mother of Gregory Zucco and his wife Jill of Franklin, John Zucco and his wife Dianna of Hanson. She was a devoted step-mother of Tracy Luisi of Revere and Rae Ann Sforza of Quincy. She leaves her loving grandchildren: Gregory, Rachel, Alex, Nicholas, Matthew, Eric, Kimberly, Lisa and Gia. Margie was also the dear sister of Irma Cacicio and the late Joseph “Sonny” Mirabello.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, November 7th from 10 AM – Noon followed by a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
