Cheryl A. (Cloutier) Wood, 52, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Amesbury, the daughter of Charles E. and Rachel H. (Ducharme) Cloutier and had lived in Gorham, Maine before moving to Stow thirteen years ago.
She leaves her loving husband of 21 years, Michael L. Wood: her precious children, Sophie and Jack Wood; her sister, Denise C. Bean and her husband, Douglas of Portsmouth, NH; her brother, Donald C. Cloutier and his wife, Ann of Exeter, NH; three nieces, Katie, Nicole and Bridget; three nephews, Phil, Corey and Tim; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Cheryl graduated from Amesbury High School. She was a loving caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. She was devoted to her family, artistic and loved to be surrounded by her family and friends.
A celebration of life for Cheryl will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Hudson.
