CAROL R. TANKLE

Carol R Tankle, age 59, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at her home in Dorchester, MA, surrounded by her family, following a battle with cancer. Carol was born in Boston, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Campbell) Muse. She was raised and educated in Dorchester. Carol was an employee of the United States Postal Service and worked at the South Postal Annex in Boston. Carol was particularly proud of her 23 year membership in Alcoholics Anonymous.
Carol is survived by her husband of 23 years, Steven Tankle, her daughter Pamela, and her twin sons, Benjamin and William. She is also survived by her brothers; William Muse of San Diego, CA and Robert Muse of Wrentham as well as her sisters; Barbara Walker of Braintree, Nancy Muse of Braintree and Beverly MacDonald of Nova Scotia.
Fr. Thomas Foley, Pastor of St Ann's Church in Neponset, celebrated Carol's Funeral Mass on Friday, Aug. 12th. During his homily, Fr Foley praised Carol's family for their particular devotion to Carol and to her care during such a difficult illness. Carol was laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester. MA.
