Joseph H. Healy, Jr. passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016. Born in Boston, he grew up in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School. Mr. Healy presently resided in Revere. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, was a past employee of Partners Healthcare at Massachusetts General Hospital and was currently employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital, West Roxbury. The beloved son of the late Dorothy H. (Seely) and Joseph H. Healy, he is survived by his beloved Irene, his devoted sisters Dorothy H. Healy of Wollaston and Jo Ann Potter of Quincy, his cherished niece and nephew, Jacqueline Lemoine of NH, & W. Christopher Potter of North Weymouth, his grandniece & grandnephew, Stephanie & Caleb Lemoine and was Pop Pop to Ayden & Keeley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School Quincy, Tuesday morning at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Monday 4 to 8 PM.
