Gary R. Cadman, 64, of Westport died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. Anne's Hospital after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was the husband of Elena N. (Cataldo) Cadman.
Born in Weymouth, MA, son of the late Alfred W. and Dorothy A. (Rogman) Cadman, he had lived in Westport since 2013. Prior to retirement in 2013, he was an electronics design engineer for Scully Signal in Wilmington, MA, with whom he had several patents with. Mr. Cadman was a foster parent to several children over the years. He was a member of the Westport Point United Methodist Church. He was also a sesna pilot who enjoyed hiking, camping, working outdoors and traveling.
Including his wife, survivors include 3 brothers: Alfred W. Cadman IV of Hanson, MA, Kenneth A. Cadman of Norwell, MA and Wayne D. Cadman of Hanson, MA; a sister: Judy M. Durant of Abington, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
