Obituary

Pini, Anne (Montali), 86, of Westborough, formerly of Wellesley and Northborough, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Antonio C. Pini; her four children Anthony C. Pini and his wife Sally of Northborough, Carol A. Tellier and her husband Thomas of North Grafton, Joseph V. Pini and his wife Cheryl of Northborough, and David J. Pini and his wife Stacey of Hopkinton; eight grandchildren, Rachel Gonzalez, Sarah Follo, Christine Longo, Michael Pini, John Pini, James Pini, Amy Tellier and Mark Tellier; two great-grandchildren, Giovanna Follo and Scarlett Longo; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Alice Maccini, Paul Montali and Vincent Montali.

Anne was a graduate of Wellesley High School and lived most of her life in Wellesley. She worked at F. Diehl and Sons, and later volunteered and worked over 30 years for St. Paul Parish in Wellesley.

Anne enjoyed cooking, reading, walking, puzzle making but most of all spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. One of her favorite places to go was Cape Cod. Her family was the most important thing to her and she will be forever missed.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt 16) Wellesley, Saturday November 5th at 11AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul Church, Wellesley at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to the Mass from 10-11AM in the funeral home. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Anne’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
