Paulette Mathis Cromer, 68, of Tifton passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Michael Slaven officiating. Mrs. Cromer will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 6, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Donald Cromer, Junior Gonzalez, Patrick Gonzalez, Tyler Cromer, Catlin Cromer and James Allen Bryant will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 4, 1948, in Tifton, Mrs. Cromer was the daughter of Betty Mathis of Tifton and the late Paul Mathis. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Mathis. Mrs. Cromer was avid equestrian and loved antiques and her family was her life. She loved to travel and explore antebellum homes. Savannah was her favorite travel destination.
Mrs. Cromer is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Cromer of Tifton; her two children and their spouses, Donald and Paige Cromer and Lisa and Junior Gonzalez, all of Tifton; her four grandchildren and their spouses, Renee and Russ Bryant, Catlin Cromer and Mikayla Seymour, Tyler Cromer and Kendra Harrison and Patrick Gonzalez; and four great-granddaughters, Morgan, Rylee and Emilee Bryant and Mollee Cromer; and one great-grandson, James Allen Bryant.
