In Brockton, November 2, 2016 Sheila M. (Murphy) Womack, passed away following a lengthy illness in Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Sheila is survived by her loving and devoted husband Johnny L. Womack of Taunton to whom she was married to for 48 years. Sheila was born in Dighton, the daughter of the late Thomas & Gladys (Perry) Murphy. Sheila had resided all her life in Taunton and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, class of 1955. She was employed for several local companies as a secretary. Sheila enjoyed dining out, traveling, sports and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband Johnny, Sheila leaves her daughter Kelly Womack of Taunton and her late daughter Karla Holiday, formerly of Wellford, SC. She also leaves her grandchildren Morgan Folsom, Brooke Brassard and Donovan Holiday all of SC and John and Devin Lopes of Taunton. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, November 5th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 10-11 am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
