Thomas G. Landry, age 55, passed away on Oct.22, 2016. He was born on Dec. 20, 1960 in Springfield, MA and graduated from Chicopee High School, Class of 1979. He was also a graduate of Central Connecticut State College and worked as a taxi owner for over 20 years. He was a communicant of Assumption Church. Thomas was a resident of Nantucket, MA for over 30 years. He leaves his sister Therese Price of Springfield; 3 nieces, Danielle Price, Amanda Mendez and Rachel Donohue; 3 nephews, William Price, John Paul Landry and David Landry and 2 great nieces Jazmyne and Kiyah. He also leaves his close friends on Nantucket Jay and Lee Vanhoven, Dan and Susan Balling and his Godson Johnny Balling. He was predeceased by his parents Rowland Leo and Lucille (Messier) Landry, two brothers Paul Landry and Richard Landry. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in the Assumption Church in Chicopee at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St Patrick Cemetery. Donations may be made in Tom's name to the Chicopee Athletics Hall of Fame 820 Front St. Chicopee, MA. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
