Albert R. Bentley
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, November 1, 2016, Mr. Albert R. “Bubba” Bentley, 95, husband of Mrs. Mary M. Bentley.
Mr. Bentley was a native of Macon where he played football for Lanier High School. He entered the Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Bentley owned and operated Bentley Office Machine for 40 years. He loved animals and enjoyed raising horses.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Rosemary B. Smith (Clark); sons: David Bentley (Martine) and the late Albert “Rusty” Bentley, Jr.; grandchildren: Allison McKinley, Paula Smallwood, Laura Bentley, Susan Mitchell and Joseph Bentley; and six great grandchildren. Mr. Bentley was preceded in death by his brother, James Bentley.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 1:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Ed Rees and Rev. Robert F. Hunt officiating.
