Harold “Hap” Holland, age 95 of Methuen passed away on October 31, 2016. Hap was born in Lawrence on September 29, 1921 to the late Percy and Doris (Eaton) Holland. He was a proud WWII U.S.M.C. Veteran. Hap was a very active member at the Methuen Senior Citizens Center.
Hap was the beloved husband of the late Alexina (Boulet) Holland. He was the devoted father of Dennis Holland and his wife Linda of Methuen, and Wayne Holland and his wife Merle of Methuen. Hap was the loving grandfather of Christine (Holland) Merrill and her husband Jeff, Michael Holland and David Holland. He was the cherished great grandfather of Micaela Holland, Lauren Lajeunesse, Alec Holland and Kylee Merrill. Hap was the dear brother of James Holland of FL, and the late Roy Holland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thank you to both the hospice care workers and the staff at the Auror Nursing Home in Derry, NH.
