TEWKSBURY - Rose (Giordano)(DiPrisco) DiCarlo, age 89, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon, October 30, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was the beloved wife for 43 years of Salvatore J. DiCarlo.
She was born in Medford, in January 1927, the daughter of the late Antonino and Letteria (Marino)Giordano, raised in Medford, and had graduated from Medford High School. After her marriage to Sal, they lived in Medford and Reading before retiring to Tewksbury in 2000.
Rose was a communicant of St. Clement’s Church in Medford, St. Agnes in Reading, and most recently, St. William’s in Tewksbury.
Besides her beloved husband she leaves her children, Victor DiPrisco of Haverhill, Patricia Tambone and her husband Joseph of Tewksbury, Joanne Letendre and her husband James of Haverhill, Joseph DiPrisco of Reading; step children, Joseph “Sal” DiCarlo of Medford, Teresa Milkavich, Patricia and her husband Joseph Figgione all of FL, Peter and his wife Beth DiCarlo of Wilmington; twenty two grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and predeceased by her brother Joseph Giodano.

Visiting hours Thursday, Nov. 3, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 or 978) 851 2950. Her funeral will begin Friday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury.
