Dorothy A. (Maffeo) Donofrio of Rochester, NH died on Sunday, October 30, at Langdon Place of Dover, NH. Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Catherine (Gallagher) Maffeo. After graduating high school, Dorothy moved to Medford and was employed as a Service Representative.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Donofrio, and the devoted mother of Judith Ouellette and her husband Raymond of Rochester, NH, Susan Barreira and her late husband Joseph of Medford, Deborah Noonan of Everett, Ralph Donofrio Jr. and his wife Sandra of Lynn. She was the loving grandmother of Jason and Joshua Ouellette, Joseph, Jay, and John Barreira, Christina Noonan, Christopher and Anthony Donofrio, and the late Jamie Barreira and David Noonan. Dorothy was the loving great grandmother of Elliana, Abby, Kyle and Vivian, and sister of Joseph Maffeo of Chelmsford, Ralph Maffeo and his wife Virginia of Stoneham.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Friday, November 4 at 10AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be private.
